We always like to show guests where breakfast is served, where the lounge is and take them up to their bedrooms. This way we can explain the keys to the rooms and the front door. We can also answer any further questions guests may have about pubs, food etc. The three guest rooms, two doubles and one twin, are all on the first floor and of course this means there are stairs. All the bedrooms are carpeted and the house is centrally heated throughout the chilly seasons of the year. There is a hairdryer, radio and alarm clock, additional pillows and blankets in each room. We can give you either synthetic or feather pillows – just ask.
The two double rooms have en suit facilities (shower only - no bath) and the twin room has its own shower etc. just outside the room. All the showers have a step up, approx. 30 to 40 cms. to get into them and have thermostatic mixers with twist turn taps. One of the double rooms is in its own separate part of the building with its own front door. It is called the Governor’s House. It has a narrow wooden staircase with a partial handrail. It has its own T.V. with remote control. Also it has a small walled garden with a nice bench and is very pleasant in warm weather and warm summer evenings. > more
